New version of Univention Corporate Server available.

Univention Corporate Server 4.0 was released.

"We are very happy to announce the availability of Univention Corporate Server (UCS) 4.0. Considerable highlights are: the design and the usability of the UCS management system have been completely revamped to allow the comfortable administration with tablets and smartphones via a responsive design; in addition to local virtualization servers, the UCS Virtual Machine Manager (UVMM) can now also manage cloud computing environments based on OpenStack or Amazon EC2 environments; the management of applications has been simplified through a centralised App Center...."

Univention Corporate Server is an enterprise-class distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux. It features an integrated management system for central administration of servers, Microsoft Active Directory-compatible domain services, and functions for parallel operation of virtualised server and desktop operating systems. Univention Corporate Server is a commercial product, except for the limited "Personal Use" edition which is limited to five users.
