Commands
Open a terminal
Add the GNOME3 ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
Add the GNOME3 staging ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
Update your package list
sudo apt-get update
Upgrade to gnome 3.18
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Reboot
Open a terminal
You can check your gnome-shell version with the command:
gnome-shell --version
Add the noobslab ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes
Add the numix ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa
Install the themes
sudo apt-get install numix-icon-theme numix-icon-theme-circle flat-plat-gs
Enable the themes
Enable the maximize and minimize titlebar buttons
Install shell extensions
Allow the firefox integration
Install the Dash to dock extension
Install the Drop down terminal extension
