Commands
Open a terminal
Update your system
sudo apt-get update
Update your system
sudo apt-get upgrade
Install proprietary graphics drivers
Reboot
Open a terminal
Add the Variety wallpaper changer ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:peterlevi/ppa
Add the noobslab icons themes ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons
Add the noobslab gtk themes ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes
Add the Paper Project theme ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:snwh/pulp
Add the numix theme ppa
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa
Update your package list
sudo apt-get update
Install the gtk themes
sudo apt-get install flat-plat-gs arc-theme ultra-flat-theme paper-gtk-theme aurora-themes numix-gtk-theme
Install the icons themes
sudo apt-get install papirus-icons paper-icon-theme square-beam-icons numix-icon-theme numix-icon-theme-circle
Install Ubuntu restricted extras(mp3, avi, mpeg, TrueType, Java, Flash, Codecs)
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
Install unity tweak tool, variety, gimp, vlc and qbittorrent
sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool variety gimp vlc qbittorrent
Open Unity Tweak Tool and select your favorite theme
Open Variety wallpaper changer and configure it
Install google Chrome
www.google.com/chrome

Select your architecture and download
Install google Chrome
Double click the file and install
Install Steam
